behind the scenes: THE NIGHTINGALE

Hello everyone!!

The final installment of my blog series, behind-the-scenes of Sustainable Fashion is a cabaret, will dive into all five of the outfits created for The Nightingale look, sported by New York nightlife it girl Julie J!!! It was an absolute honor to have someone as captivating and hilariously talented as Julie J serve as the emcee for my NYFW show.

Julie J, NYC’s reigning Entertainer of the Year, brought her signature charisma to my NYFW event, Sustainable Fashion is a Cabaret as the host. Instead of wearing a single look, Julie dazzled in five distinct outfits over the course of the night, her charm and wit elevating each ensemble to new heights of sparkle and allure.

To open the show, she wore a black sequin set, featuring dramatic mesh cut-outs. The sparkling sequins and bedazzled fabric caught the stage lights, making her radiate with a luminous glow. This look perfectly set the tone for the evening, hinting at the four looks that were yet to come.
